Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th of October 1992) is an Indian actress. She is a regular in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. The actress was honoured with an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in 2018 for her portrayal of actress Savitri and her role in the Telugu movie Mahanati. The film also won three SIIMA Awards were also given to her, as was an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the child of film producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She started her acting career at the beginning of 2000. Her first big character as a lead actress in Geethaanjali (2013) which was a Malayalam feature film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The film did not perform well in the theater. The film she released was her debut, A. L. Vijay's love story Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015. The film was starring Vikram Prbhu. The film was not a success at the box-office. To fit in more ambitious projects, she needed to pull out of films she had started working on. This include Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. In the end, she worked on two films, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo with Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played her role as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. Though the release date for Janakitho Nuvvu hasn't been set, reports suggest that the film could be released sometime in September of 2020. Nenu Sailaja was released in 2016 and starred actor Ram Pothineni. In January of 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa with actor Vijay and directed by Bharathan. In 2017, Keerthy was on the screen in the Tamil film PaambhuSattai, as well as Telugu film Nenu Local.
