Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born into a musical family on the 9th of August, 1963. She was born in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel superstar Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. as well as a cousin of the singing sensation Dionne Warwick. As a young girl, Houston started singing professionally with the church choir. Houston sang the backing vocals for Chaka Khosn's single from 1978 Im Every Woman with her mother. Her mother, Jermaine and Lou Rawls were a few of the performers she performed with. She was also briefly as a model for Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. The Whitney album followed in 1987 and the singles Where Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to further build upon the success of her first album. However, it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her standing as one of the most well-known performers. Even though the movie and actor's performance weren't much praised, her soundtrack album featuring her rendition of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was the top-selling album and single for a number of months. It sold more than 44 million copies worldwide. The daughter of her mother Bobbi was born the month of March of 1993, a year after she wed Bobby Brown. Around this time, her drug abuse was documented, and she began using daily until 1996.
Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorperson for the CNN reporter and political reporter for CNN. She has also produced several of the network's Saturday shows such the Evans & Novak' Late Edition as well as Inside Politics.'
