Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine combines R&B, soul gospel and jazz in the style that is his own. From Broadway to European festival and clubs, Avery Sunshine has been a hit everywhere. Sunshine Her real name was Denise White. Though she's located in Atlanta but her origins are located in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop a musical career singing and playing the piano in a church. She attended Spellman College and began to learn the R&B style of Atlanta. The Fighting Temptations The first single with her vocals was called Stalk You A house 12 released only in Japan; it was later remixed by a variety of producers and has become the mainstay of her live set. Also, she contributed to The Fighting Temptations soundtrack. In 2005, she was employed as the lead keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday (a Grammy and Tony Award winner) offered her the position of director of the choral section of Dreamgirls in Atlanta during the National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine gained attention in the performances that took place over four days of 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine sang during Barack Obama's Inauguration in 2009.
