Donald Joseph Qualls better known by his screen title DJ Qualls was born in the USA. He is an actor, producer and model. After gaining fame through his role as a character in Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films, including The New Guy Hustle & Flow and The Core. He also has appeared on over 22 television shows such as Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma since the age of 14 old. After two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. The treatment was so early that it caused a serious effect on the body, which slowed the growth of his body. Because he was a child of poverty, he wanted to be financially secure. I've been living so cheaply for so long I have to have that financial security or the world feels uncontrollable for me he said in an interview. He also reminisces about his youth to inspire him. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. DJ's ideal role is to be a father in reel, as well as in real life. However, he does admit that the directors rarely make him the ideal choice for those kinds of jobs. In the future, he hopes to become father to children.
